Police officers arrest a young female addict in the Farahzad area of Tehran, and take her to a detention center, August 16th, 2008. During a strategic plan to fight against drug addicts, the Iranian police arrest many homeless and drug addicts in different parts of the city and detain them for some time. Most of these people return to their previous way of life after being released abusing drugs and living on the streets.
