Shakila, a 17-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a singer, is playing the guitar in the city of Hesse, Isfahan. She has recorded several rap songs in Persian and hopes to release an album one day. Hesse is a city on the outskirts of Isfahan, which has one of the highest statistics of moral and social corruption in Iran. Drug use and prostitution are rampant in this city. June 27th, 2019.
