Women supporters of the Green Movement in Iran are holding a silent march in Tehran's Karimkhan Street in protest of election fraud. In support of Mirhossein Mousavi, one of the candidates for the 2009 elections in Iran, the majority of Iranian society formed a movement called the Green Movement. After the victory of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran and the suspicion of fraud in the elections, this movement started mass demonstrations. Hundreds of people were killed and injured during the months of protests. June 17th, 2009.
