A girl protests the killing of Mahsa Amini by Iran's morality patrol and sets her scarf on fire while standing on top of a car in Tehran's Keshavarz Blvd. After the death of Mahsa Amini, by morality police due to not complying with the Islamic dress code, it caused thousands of people in different cities of Iran to start demonstrations. These demonstrations were violently suppressed by the police and security forces from the first days of its formation. Thousands of people were killed in subsequent months demanding change to the political and social conditions in Iran. Hundreds of people lost their eyes. More than a hundred thousand people were arrested and imprisoned and dozens of people were executed. September 19th, 2022.
