50 year old Parvaneh Ojaghi, and her 19 year old daughter, Golzar Tarverdian, pose for the camera in Pardis city near Tehran. They were arrested and severely beaten during demonstrations in Pardis and were taken to Qarchak prison. Due to lack of financial resources, they were forced to spend three months in prison and were finally released with a pay slip. Parvaneh is now working as a worker in a grocery store in Pardis and Golzar wants to open a cosmetics shop. August 13th, 2022.
